The Autumn Equinox is one of nature's most powerful thresholds - a sacred pause between summer's fullness and autumn's turning inward.
This retreat was born from that energy.
Created for women feeling the pull to slow down, land, digest the year that's been and move through transition with intention.

The Space
La Cura, meaning "The Cure" in Spanish, is a sanctuary that beautifully blends centuries of history with modern, considered design. Nestled amidst 40 acres of walnut trees and lush nature, this lovingly restored wellness venue offers understated luxury and a deep, unhurried sense of calm at every turn.
Only 20 minutes from Girona and 90 minutes from Barcelona, close enough to reach easily, far enough to feel like another world entirely.
This is our fourth time returning to La Cura. And every single time, we are moved by something we can only describe as the magic of this place. It holds you in a way that is hard to put into words and easy to feel the moment you arrive.

The Practices
Every day is layered with intention with practices that meet you where you are and gently guide you deeper. Our schedule always blends spaciousness and support.
We will explore through a fusion of:
Yoga & Ayurvedic Wisdom: Exploring yoga as a way of living through yogic philosophy and practices such as Flow, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation, and mantra + seasonal teachings inspired by the science of Ayurveda, with a some Pilates-inspired movement.
Somatic Stress Release™: Through the work of Somatic Stress Release™, we will explore the body’s stress responses, learn how to release stuck energy, and rebuild resilience from the inside out. Plus, we will explore nervous system and embodiment practices, along with some Pilates-inspired movement
Sound, Ritual & Ceremony: Explore the power of ceremony and ritual to honour life’s transitions, anchor and reconnect you to your inner wisdom and intuition, and the experience sound healing.
The Food
We believe food is medicine for the body, heart and soul. Each meal is lovingly crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients by our private chef. Nourishing, seasonal and prepared with pure intention. We can't wait for you to experience the flavours and feel the love in every bite.
Alongside the practices, you will be able to enjoy thoughtfully curated treatments to restore, rejuvenate, and renew. From soothing holistic massages, shamanic and energy healing to insightful tarot readings.
The team at La Cura are true masters in their craft, and each treatment is offered as an extension of the retreat's intention to support your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
In addition, you will be able to enjoy daily access to the saltwater pool, jacuzzi, daily sauna sessions, each offering space to soothe your nervous system and allowing you unwind into deeper relaxation.
